Introduction
The Library & Documentation Unit of CPRI was set up in 1956 to provide scientific and technical information resources and services support towards attainment of research mission of the Institute. CPRI Library is one of the best Indian Bio-science library on POTATO and most sought after for potato and agricultural research information. It is a well-stacked Library having WEBOPAC (Web enabled Online Public Access Catalogue) of its holdings (more than fifty thousand) of research documents in print, digital and online form for serving scientific community. The library is being managed under supervision of a well qualified Librarian with help of a dedicated team of staff comprising of two professional, one technical and two supporting staff under overall administrative control of Director and Chairman, Library Committee.
